Calculator for digital photographers and cinematographers calculates sensor resolution in lp/mm, diffraction limit, Dmax and Dmin values from Lab measurements, DOF and hyperfocal distance optimized for given sensor size and resolution, converts between RGB and Lab color spaces and provides interactive tool to calculate sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, daylight hours, shadow length and other Sun and Moon related data.

Sun and Moon
Great for planning landscape photography. Find sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset times and azimuths and transit times for Sun and Moon. Find times of civil, nautical or astronomical dawn and dusk. Calculate Sun and Moon elevation angles, Moon phase and illumination or length of the shadow. Preview position of Sun and Moon from the camera location at given time and location. Interact with the preview to find when Sun will be in the best angle or when Moon appears in the frame.
Works for any location and time and date. Locations can be entered to the calculator either as a postal address, geographic coordinates or pinpointed on a map.

Color conversions
Convert color values between seventeen RGB color spaces and Lab, XYZ, xyY, LCh and LUV. Calculate color temperature and density. Get name of color entered as numbers. View gamut of RGB color spaces involved in the conversion.

Lens and focus calculations
Calculate hyperfocal distance and depth of field in feet or meters. Use your sensor size and resolution to calculate appropriate circle of confusion (CoC). Find what angle of view has a lens on your sensor and what is the corresponding focal length on a full frame camera.
